Cookie Policy
This page lists everything MadDuckBet stores on your device, what each item is for, and how to change your mind.
Most of what we use isn't technically a cookie: it's browser local storage, which works the same way from your point of view, so it's covered here too. Optional categories stay off until you accept them, and rejecting takes exactly as few clicks as accepting.
Changing your choice
Use "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page. Your choice is recorded immediately and applies from that moment on.
Strictly necessary, always on
These make the site work, so we don't ask consent for them. None of them identify you.
- mdb:consent — what you chose about analytics and marketing, and when. Without it we'd have to ask again on every page.
- mdb:country — the country you selected, so filters and availability notes stay correct as you move around the site.
- mdb:last-path — the page you were on before following an outbound link, so returning to the site works properly.
- mdb:last-click — the last casino link you clicked, held briefly so a double click isn't counted twice. Cleared when you close the tab.
- mdb:affiliate-clicks — a record, on your own device, of the casino links clicked from this browser, used to reconcile commission. It holds the casino, the page, device type, selected country and time. No name, no email address, nothing from a casino account.
Analytics, off until you accept
If you accept, we measure which pages and offers get read and how visitors move through the site, so we know what to fix and what to write next. This may set cookies belonging to our analytics provider, and may include the approximate region derived from your IP address.
If you decline, no analytics loads at all. The site behaves exactly the same.
Marketing, nothing today
We don't run advertising, remarketing or social tracking tags. The category exists so that none could ever be added without asking you first. Nothing is loaded for it.
Cookies set by the casinos we link to
When you follow a link to a casino, that casino may set its own cookies, including ones that attribute your registration to us. That happens on their website, under their cookie policy and their consent banner, not ours. We can't read or control those cookies. The commercial relationship behind them is explained in the affiliate disclosure.
Blocking storage in your browser
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies and site data, usually under privacy or site settings. If you block ours, the site still works, but it will forget the country you picked and will ask about analytics again on each visit.
What happens to the data itself
What we do with what's collected, the legal basis for each purpose and your rights over it are in the privacy policy.
Changes to this page
If we add or remove anything listed here, we update this page. If a new optional category is ever introduced, we'll ask you again rather than rely on a choice you made before it existed.
